How it started
Hi, I'm Nesli.
TalentVP didn't start as a business idea. It started as something I genuinely needed. A few years ago, I moved to Germany with my family. New country, new language, new life. While helping my child settle in and learning German myself (from A1 to B2 — not easy), I was also trying to find work as a software developer. Interview preparation quickly became frustrating. I practiced common questions, but had no idea if my answers were actually good. I rehearsed in front of mirrors. I read countless articles. Still, I walked into interviews unsure, unprepared, and without real feedback.
There has to be a better way.
After one interview that just didn't feel right, I had a simple thought: There has to be a better way. I'm a developer. So instead of searching for another tool that didn't quite fit, I started building the one I wished I had.
Between freelance projects and family life, TalentVP slowly came to life — not as a startup at first, but as a personal survival tool. A way to practice interviews realistically, get instant feedback, and improve without bothering friends or paying for expensive coaching.
What surprised me was how many people needed exactly the same thing!
